Nigerian Actress, Boma Dokubo has lamented the plight of being an upcoming actor in Nollywood.
During a recent chat with Media personality Daddy Freeze, Boma revealed that despite working with top Nollywood stars in a movie, she hasn’t earned much.
Boma claimed she has worked with the likes of Mercy Johnson and Destiny Etiko, but wasn’t paid when she acted with the former.
According to her, despite studying theatre arts and being elegible to star in movies, she is still struggling hard to survive and to make a name for herself in the industry.
In her message to her fellow upcoming actors/actresses, she told them to have a side hustle as the industry doesn’t favor them financially.
