Stan Nze, Taaoma, others react as KieKie states that ‘speaking one’s dialect with local accent is a flex’

Nigerian actress, media personality and skit maker, Bukunmi Adeaga-Ilori professionally known as Kiekie has sparked reactions from actor Stan Nze, skitmaker Taaoma, and others after stating that speaking one’s dialect with local accent is a flex.

“It breaks my heart to see people not embracing or speaking their local dialect because they don’t want to be called razz or local.

Honestly, you should be proud of where you’re from.

Let’s stop wasting time on this nonsense stigmatization, while the outside world is busy learning our language and selling it back to us. It really is a shame…

English language is beautiful, but guess what’s more beautiful, your local language.

Speaking your local language with your indigenous accent and tone is major flex……”
