A corps member was confronted by voters in Enugu State’s Abakpa area for purportedly transferring votes from the Labour Party (LP) to the NNPP.
Amid ongoing Nigerian presidential and National Assembly elections, the copper who was contracted by INEC to assist in the election process was allegedly caught in the act.
According to a viral video footage, the corps member was accused of swapping the votes of the Labour Party (LP) with those of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP). The youths who accosted her in a calm and respectful manner asked if she was aware of the implication of what she had done.
Responding, the corps member pleaded for forgiveness for trying to truncate and void people’s efforts.
