Veteran actress, Patience Ozokwo alias “Mama Gee”, has triggered reactions online following her response to comparison with colleague, Sola Sobowale aka King of Boys, on social media.
Nollywood jewels, Ozokwo and Sobowale have regularly been cast as alter egos in films where they antagonize each other to entertain the audience with compelling stories enacted to resonate with the target audience.
The movie icons are also widely known for their no-nonsense movie roles. They played a big part of the childhood of many children who have now become full-grown adults.
Just recently, A Twitter user with the handle @abas_kvng, had shared a poll on Twitter asking Nigerians to choose who they enjoyed more while growing up between Ozokwo and Sobowale.
The poll trended on Twitter and it caught the attention of Mama Gee. Commenting on the thread, Patience Ozokwo stylishly cautioned fans against comparing her to her “good friend”.
She wrote;
“My good friend and I are trending oo! My people my people we hear you. Only love here…”
Ozokwo’s Fans and followers have taken to her comment section to praise her and thank her for gracing their TV screens.
