Why I am yet to own a restaurant – BBNaija’s WhiteMoney [Video]

Winner of Big Brother Naija 2021, Hazel Onou better known as WhiteMoney, has revealed why he hasn’t launched his own state of the art walk-in restaurant.

WhiteMoney said that lack of funds is the major reason, stating that it costs about N650 million to set up and run a standard restaurant and he doesn’t have that type of money.

The reality TV star made the disclosure while being interviewed on The Honest Bunch podcast co-hosted by Nedu, Toun, Naomi and Husband Material.

WhiteMoney disclosed that he cannot raise such amount on his own, despite knowing a lot of his fans are aware of his love for cooking.

When the anchors asked him to solicit for financial support from his supporters, he replied that it is impossible to contribute N650m for him in Nigeria.

He said;

“You and I know one of the reasons I don’t have walk-in restaurant is because the cost of for opening a restaurant was close to N650 million, I can’t do all of them on my own.”

Nedu and his co-hosts then suggested that he asks those who buy expensive cars like Range Rover for BBNaija stars like himself.

WhiteMoney’s response caught them by surprise as he said they should not believe everything they see on social media. The BBNaija alum added:

“So the fans will contribute N650 million for you? Don’t believe everything you see on the internet fam.”
