Some Nollywood stars have taken to social media to share their thoughts on viral clip of Popular, outspoken Islamic cleric, Sheik Hammad Olanrewaju Alfulanny, calling out famous Yoruba actress Adunni Ade to return the money given to her by late actor Murphy Afolabi.
During the eight days Fidaus prayers for actor Murphy Afolabi, Sheik Alfulanny, who is part of the burial committee, had publicly shamed Adunni Ade for holding on to 250k given to her by Murphy Afolabi for a job just before he died.
Reacting, Adunni Ade’s colleagues, Wumi Toriola, Nkechi Blessing, Alesh Sanni, Uche Nnnanna, all took to the comment section of an Instagram blog’s post, to lambast the cleric and question the motive behind the call-out.
Wumi Toriola wrote;
“No be only me see shege, Adunni shege wan pass sef, what is this, i am so angry, na death dey cause this kind thing, rest on Murphy”
Nkechi Blessing wrote;
“So you mentioned only her name and left the remaining out? SMH!”
Uche Nnnanna wrote;
“This is wrong, did you people reach out to her before doing this public announcement”
Alesh Sanni wrote;
“But this is insane … What kind of religion do you practice and the best way to pass your message to her is this”
