Embarrassing moment I was turned back at passport office over my dressing, asked to remove… – Simi [VIDEO]

Nigerian singer, Simisola Kosoko, better known as Simi, has narrated her embarrassing moment, claiming that her appearance nearly prevented her from entering a passport office.

Taking to her Instagram page hours back, the mother of one narrated how she was initially barred from entering into the passport office due to her ‘inappropriate dressing’.

Simi who dropped her first single of the year today, June 9 stated that the security at the gate stated that her dress was too short. She added that after pulling different power buttons, she was allowed inside.

To take her passport, Simi revealed she had to take off her nose ring, earrings and cover up with a scarf because apparently, sleeveless/spaghetti strap wears isn’t allowed on passports.

The Duduke crooner said despite having a cold, she had to sing for them at the passport office upon request. Simi said in part:

“I went to the passport office to get my passport done and when I reached the gate, they said I should go back because I am indecently dressed.

“I looked myself up and down, and asked, can you see anything in my body that is indecent? He said he cannot see, but ‘I should go back and wear something more ‘down’.”
