Popular Nigerian film actress, Mercy Aigbe-Adeoti also known as Hajia Minnah is for the first time ever, heading to Mecca with her promoter husband, Kazim Adeoti aka Adekaz.
Mercy Aigbe and her husband joined millions of Muslims around the world to perform hajj 2023 in the holy land of Mecca. The Actress took to Instagram to announce her departure with photos of herself and her husband at the airport before they left.
The light-skinned mother of two donned a beautiful black abaya, while her husband wore a white jalabiya and native cap.
Mercy Aigbe performing hajj this year would be her final transition into Islam because of her marriage to her Muslim husband. The actress captioned the photos:
“Hajj 2023……. Alhamdulilah.”

Recall after Mercy Aigbe converted to Islam, she took to social media to explain the meaning of her Muslim name, ‘Minnah’, in reaction to diverse opinions to it.
The actress and wife to marketer, Kazim Adeoti stated that Minnah is a name suggested by her husband and it means Mercy of Gift from Allah.
Suggesting they make their research, the newly converted mother of two asked Muslims to name their daughters after her because it’s a unique name. Read more here
