Like Grammy award winning singer, Burna Boy reportedly chased after Davido’s car some years ago before hitting limelight, an old video of Teni in similar circumstances has resurfaced.
Teniola Apata aka Teni Entertainer in the 2021 video got down from her car, crossed the highway while shouting out Davido’s name in a bid to get his attention.
Luckily, Davido knew Teni while aboard heard her call for him and stopped his car. Teni was seen breathing heavily disclosed she had been chasing after his car from a long distance and went on to request a collaboration for her future album.
Davido who had earlier asked what she wanted happily obliged her request.
Teni’s career skyrocketed after she landed the desired collaboration with Davido which also aided her in gaining substantial notoriety in the music business.
Funny reactions have however trailed the throwback moment with many linking it to Burna Boy who according to Davido’s cousin, B-Red, chased after their car in Port Harcourt the first time they met. See some reactions and video below:
