They’re no longer in top 20 – Adekunle Gold mocks colleagues who allegedly use streaming farms
  • A recent tweet from Adekunle Gold has caused a significant reaction on the internet, as he took a shot at his colleagues.
  • The ‘Parry no dey stop’ hitmaker apparently taunted fellow musicians who may have experienced a decline in Apple’s top Naija 100 playlists.

Adekunle Gold, renowned Afrobeats artist, has levied a strong accusation against certain fellow musicians, claiming that they employ streaming farms to artificially boost the popularity of their songs.

On his Twitter account, he humorously criticized those whose songs initially achieved a top 20 spot on music charts but swiftly plummeted to positions below the top 20 within a mere week.

Adekunle Gold shared a viral clip of a lady who laughed during an interview, and he alluded that the money people use to get for ‘fertilizer’ for the streaming farms have been exhausted.

The Singer tweeted; “Songs wey dey top 20 last week don go 170 something, owo fertilizer ti ku waso.”

This is coming few days after Adekunle Gold warned fellow singer, Brymo, not to disrespect Simi and his family.

Brymo had said he declined to feature Simi because she refused to “get intimate” with him.

In an interview, Brymo said he requested a body exchange before collaborating with Simi, Efya, and other female artists to see the results of making music with them.

Responding, Adekunle Gold charged Brymo to seek help.

Tweeting, AG baby as he’s popularly called wrote: ”Do not disrespect my wife and my family. Get Help!”

Brymo, in response, warned Adekunle Gold to stay away from him.

He reemphasized that the singer should stay clear of him and not call him again.

“Really???…really bro?? Na wetin you get to talk be that??? I get it now, stay your lane…stay far away from the same!!!
