In other news, Nollywood actor and popular movie producer, Musiliu Ajikanle has passed away.

Ajikanle, who features more in Yoruba movies, died on Monday, July 31, after battling with stroke for seven years.

Yoruba movie lovers will remember the late Ajikanle as the producer of the highly acclaimed film “Mufiu Olosha Oko.”

During his period of being bedridden, a Nigerian cleric named Gabriel Agbala visited him at his residence in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital. This gesture appeared to be a turning point in his recovery.

The clergyman took the initiative to launch a fundraising campaign to support Musiliu’s medical treatment and well-being. Despite their efforts, Musiliu sadly passed away yesterday. His legacy in the Yoruba movie industry will be cherished by many movie lovers.
