Nigerian Chef Damilola Adeparusi has taken to social media, sounding the alarm that she’s been on edge for months, fearing potential attacks, after her controversial quest to break Colleague, Hilda Baci’s world record.
WITHIN NIGERIA reported that an Ekiti-based lady, Chef Dammy took up a cook-a-thon ‘test run’ on 11 June and continued until 15 June, cooking over 100 pots of food during her four-day kitchen stint.
Her bold attempt was welcomed with mixed reactions with some berating her for attempting to break Hilda’s record just weeks after she set the record, while others commended her bravery.
She once boldly declared her unwavering determination to outshine Hilda Baci by attempting a 150-hour cooking marathon slated for July. However, that plan never made it out of the oven.
Fast forward to October, Chef Dammy, in her latest exposé, lamented the unrelenting storm unleashed by certain “men of the God” who’ve bombarded her with threats, curses, and a barrage of insults in the wake of her cook-a-thon, that left her in a perpetual state of anxiety.
She said it’s a situation that almost cost her dearly, pushing her to the brink of death only a few days ago.
Chef Dammy finds it utterly bewildering why these tormentors are still hounding her, considering it’s been four months since her culinary marathon came to a close.
In her write up, Chef Dammy wrote; “By the time we are done with you, you will not be able to stand on your feet again”
this was from the acclaimed “people of God”. Among many of the countless insults, curses, threats and bullying.
Now, I understand the content of 1 Peter 4:17, Surely judgment will begin from the house of God.
The first time the man of God tried to challenge my God he failed, then he told me to prepare for war.
But these are the people of God,
Are they not supposed to be Godly?
Assuming I had died few days ago; people would’ve understood better what I’ve been facing, by the testimony of those around me.
But I’ll still try and bind my piece because it is a testimony that others can learn from
I know about gods
that is why I chose the undefeatable God. Surely they shall gather,
but they that be with me are more than they that be with them.
I’ve been in constant fear for my life.
Countless times they’ve tried to destroy me as promised,
but with God I keep moving as if nothing ever happened.
