Stepping into a den of Yoruba cinema's supernatural and sorcery authorities is synonymous to playing with fire. Mr Macaroni’s encounter with in-laws, Abija, Alapini, Iya Gbonkan, others in new skit sparks laughter (VIDEO)
  • Mr Macaroni had fans roaring with laughter with his latest skit, where he teamed up with Yoruba movie stars who are experts at playing herbalists and dabbling in witchcraft in their film roles.
  • The skitmaker got cold feet when he discovered that these Nollywood actors, with movie magic and supernatural prowess, were set to become his future in-laws.

The recent showdown between Mr. Macaroni, a Nigerian content guru and the mystical figures of Yoruba cinema in a new skit has lit up the online world, sparking a significant buzz.

In the skit, Mr. Macaroni paid a visit to his sweetheart’s abode, ready to give her a piece of his mind for reneging on their agreement to visit him after he’d doled out some cash.

The lady, with a stern warning, urged Mr. Macaroni to leave, lest he provoke her father’s wrath. Mr. Macaroni turned a deaf ear to her caution, and the ensuing drama sent a cold thrill through his body.

In a viral introduction game-style, Mr. Macaroni’s lover’s family members emerged one by one to present themselves to the skitmaker.

Participating in the “I’m not the father game,” the skitmaker Oyadiran Moses, along with Yoruba movie stars Olasukanmi Akanni, Razak Ajanni, Abeni Agbon, Alapini Osa, Iya Gbonkan, and Baba Abija, all famous for their mystical and witchcraft roles, took the stage to introduce themselves to Mr. Macaroni.

Their grand entrance sent shivers down the Skitmaker’s spine, making him quiver like a leaf in a thunderstorm.

Mr Macaroni, recently called for the release of #EndSARS protesters who are still languishing in detention three years after the mass protests.

He spoke in Lagos on Friday while leading a peace walk to commemorate the third anniversary of the Lekki shooting, the tragic event that led to the end of the #EndSARS protests.

He said ,”The peace walk is to honour all those that lost their lives on October 20, 2020. We’ve done that. We want to walk back but the police don’t want us to walk back.

We don’t want to give them a reason or an excuse to fire at us. We’ve been on this for three years now and we know what they are capable of doing.

“I want to use this opportunity to call for the unconditional release of all those [protesters] that are still in prisons. There are still some protesters who have been in prison since 2020. Lawyers have been on the cases, different shouts everyday but till now they are still there.

“We are using this walk to once again call on all those concerned to grant the unconditional release of all protesters that are still in prison.”
