Recall, Ekene and her fiancé, Alex Kleanson, joyously celebrated their white wedding in Benin City, Edo state on November 4, 2023.
Despite having close friends like Destiny Etiko, Lizzy Gold, James Brown, and others in her inner circle, who all attended her wedding, Ekene opted to select Chinenye Nnebe as her chief bridesmaid.
In a recent Instagram update, Umenwa Ekene shared her enthusiastic delight for selecting Chinenye Nnebe as her maid of honour.
Umenwa Ekene revealed that she embarked on a nine-day prayer and fasting journey before ultimately deciding on Chinenye Nnebe as her bridesmaid.
She passionately praised Chinenye, commending her for being a stunning, brilliant, and graceful woman.
Ekene affectionately referred to Chinenye as an angel in human form, and playfully remarked that if she were a man, she might have considered marrying her.
