Aki, Bob Manuel-Udokwu, Emeka Rollas visit ailing colleague Ameachi Muonagor in hospital

Amaechi Muonagor, the ailing actor, is grappling with three terminal diseases from his hospital bed, desperately in need of both moral and financial lifelines. Aki, Bob, and Emeka, clued into this reality, swung by his sick bed in the hospital, The AGN president spilled the beans on the financial steps they've taken to back up an actor who has been a fount of entertainment and joy on our screens for decades in the movie industry.

Aki, Bob Manuel-Udokwu, Emeka Rollas visit ailing colleague Ameachi Muonagor in hospital
  • Ameachi Munogaor is bravely battling for his life in the hospital, and his colleagues Aki, Bob Manuel, Emeka Rollas, and others graced him with a hospital visit to monitor the progress of his health.
  • AGN president Emeka Rollas artfully unveiled the financial and procedural measures undertaken by their film body to facilitate his swift recuperation.

Nollywood heavyweights Bob Manuel-Udokwu, Chinedu Ikedieze, and Emeka Rollas demonstrated heartfelt support by visiting their colleague Ameachi Munogaor, who is courageously battling kidney disease, diabetes, and stroke.

On Thursday, Emeka Rollas, the national president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), revealed that he, along with Bob Manuel, Chinedu Ikedieze, and AGN patron Chief Ejiamatu Nwokeabia, paid a visit to the ailing actor at the hospital where he is presently undergoing treatment.

Mr. Rollas, who posted a snapshot from the hospital visit on Instagram, mentioned that he has sanctioned funds to be dispatched to the actor from the AGN Trust Fund.

However, he noted that it may not be enough “due to his records with the Guild HMO & Insurance policy”

He said:

“Few days ago I led few of my colleagues and one of our National Patrons High Chief Ejiamatu Nwokeabia to check on Amechi Muonagor. He is in high spirit as witnessed by the people who accompanied me.

“I have approved some money to be sent to his account from the AGN TRUST FUND which may obviously not be enough due to his records with the Guild HMO & Insurance policy. I, therefore, use this medium to appeal to young Actors to sign up for the AGN HMO and Insurance programmes.

“All fans and well-wishers of Amechi Muonagor should join hands with other philanthropic Nigerians to support him in this dire time of need.”

Amaechi’s health condition was made known to the public on November 3 after a video of him begging for financial support went viral.

The actor disclosed that he has been battling with stroke for the past seven months and needed financial aid.

A few weeks later, the actor’s cousin and colleague Tony One Week Muonagor added that the actor is also suffering from diabetes, a kidney disease and has been undergoing dialysis.
