Afrobeats Superstar, David Adeleke, better known as Davido, took to Twitter to share his thoughts on the audience turnout at his Abuja concert held on December 14th at Eagles Square in Abuja.
The singer had earlier voiced his frustration when the expected audience didn’t show up for his performance in the Federal Capital Territory, even questioned if it was some kind of prank. Despite his early announcements for the festive season plans, the turnout didn’t meet expectations.
After venting his frustration online, Davido had a change of tune and returned to social media to tweet praises for the concert, stating that “Abuja go too sweet.”
He further mentioned his intention to delete the initial tweet, admitting he had initially expressed concern about the crowd turnout at Eagle Square.
Online, a video surfaced showing number of people that turned up at the event of the Grammy award nominee. The footage captured him electrifying a large crowd.

Meanwhile, Singer and rapper Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu, aka Odumodu Blvck, recently caused an outrage on social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, after he labelled his senior colleague Davido a fool.
Odumodu, who was recently at Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium, took to his X handle to share old music lyrics where Davido seemingly insulted media mogul Dele Momodu.
Remembering the lyrics, Odumodu, on Monday, December 11, hailed Davido as he stated that it was one of the ‘hardest’ he ever heard.
“Mr Dele na my boy, Dele na my boy.”
