Former BBNaija housemate, Uti Nwachukwu, has vehemently denied allegations of disguising himself to defraud the family and friends of an American Chef, Anthony.
The popular reality star took to social media to address the claims, asserting his innocence while revealing that he is a victim of identity theft.
Chef Anthony had earlier accused Uti Nwachukwu of creating a fraudulent Instagram page using the chef’s photos to solicit money from his friends and family.
However, in response to the accusations, Uti Nwachukwu shared old videos of himself that were exploited by the fraudster and unveiled the true identity of the culprit—an internet scammer.
Through a series of posts on his Instagram page, Uti shared evidence revealing how the scammer operated.
He shared videos that revealed the fraudulent act, emphasizing that the scammer had screen-grabbed his images or videos and used another device to record the screen-grab while impersonating Uti.
The reality star expressed his frustration at the prevalence of fraudsters and warned against justifying their actions.
Uti Nwachukwu urged the public to exercise caution and stop defending fraudsters, emphasizing how these people are ruthless and spare no one as they seek to make illegal money.
He wrote;
“PLEASE VIEW MY STORIES TO SEE THE VIDEO THE SCAMMER USED TO ANSWER THE CHEF’s CALL
…… and it’s another one ! So as u can see this Person has clearly screen grabbed my photo or video and is obviously using another Phone To record that screen grab while answering the phone. Just look at the edges on the photo🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️….. now look at the video the scammer is blocking. .. Deep in the Slums! I wish the Victim had added the Audio so we hear this Bastads Voice.
