  • A former coursemate of singer Shallipopi has revealed how the Afrobeats star blocked his colleagues on WhatsApp after attaining stardom.
  • He also described Shallipopi as a big boy back then in school, stating that he only shows up during exam periods.

During an interview with content creator @okaswiss at a recent event in Benin, an ex-coursemate of Nigerian singer, Shallipopi shared insights into their past relationship.

The coursemate disclosed that immediately Shallipopi gained stardom, the singer took the drastic step of blocking their phone numbers on WhatsApp due to constant disturbances.

Recalling their time at Auchi Polytechnic, the coursemate revealed that Shallipopi was a prominent figure on campus, often considered a “big boy” who didn’t regularly attend classes except during exam periods.
