‘A Tribe Called Judah’ records a 55% gross fall as holiday rush dwindles
  • The data show that the comedy-drama, “A Tribe Called Judah’ grossed ₦84.6 million, which is a lot lower than it did last week.
  • The change however didn’t affect the movie from maintaining its top spot on the chart, making it the most-watched Nigerian movie for the fifth time in a row.

With the festivities now fading into the background , it appears that the allure of holiday movies has dwindled considerably.

Following the conclusion of the holiday season, there was a noticeable decline in the number of Nollywood movies showing at the local theaters.

The record-breaking movie ‘A Tribe Called Judah‘ saw a 55% decline between January 12, 2024, and January 18, 2024, according to the Cinemas Exhibitors Association of Nigeria (CEAN).

Reports shows that the comedy-drama brought in ₦84.6 million, a significant decrease from its previous week’s earnings.
