Psquare’s Rudeboy tackles Eedris Abdulkareem’s claim of 50Cent flogging him and Peter Okoye (VIDEO)

Paul Okoye, one half of the legendary Psquare, has taken a swipe at his senior colleague, Eedris Abdulkareem, for badmouthing him and his brother Peter Okoye, and stirring up old drama in a recent interview about a 2004 concert.

Abdulkareem, in a recent interview, claimed that the Nigerian Breweries staged a concert in 2004 and invited American singer, 50 Cent.

He further alleged that certain Nigerian artists faced physical altercations backstage during the event, with Psquare supposedly among the affected.

In response, Okoye swiftly refuted Abdulkareem’s narrative, accusing him of fabricating stories. He made it crystal clear that Psquare wasn’t among the artists who received an invite to the concert.

In the video, Okoye lashed out at the rapper who had undergone a kidney transplant, suggesting that they should have beaten him more thoroughly on that particular day. He expressed disbelief that someone of his age would stoop to making such derogatory comments.

Rudeboy questioned why Abdulkareem would bring up Psquare in his interview.

In his clip, Paul Okoye claimed that Psquare was still young at that time. He mentioned that they were the G Zen of the music industry during that era.

The singer commended new music artists for their resilience in navigating the industry independently, without relying on external support.

This is coming after Veteran singer’s, Tony Tetuila and Eddy Remedy have countered a claim by Eedris Abdulkareem on the formation of The Remedies, the now-defunct band.

Eedris, on a recent episode of the Honest Bunch podcast, claimed he and Eddy were the founding members of The Remedies.

He said Tetuila later joined the group after they met him at a show in Ilorin, Kwara state, adding that he was “desperate to sing”.
