Nigerian Afrobeats king, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has opened up about the unique experience of being a father to twins.
Contrary to the expectations of many, Davido expressed that it has been an overwhelmingly positive journey.
Davido described being a father of twins as the best feeling ever, he stated that the joy and fulfillment he experiences are beyond words.
The singer revealed that despite initial doubts and concerns, him and his wife Chioma have embraced their role as parents to twins with open hearts.
He stated that at first people around were skeptical about raising twins, highlighting that it would be a challenging endeavor, however, the reality has been quite different as he proudly shared that his twins are blessed and don’t even cry.
Davido expressed gratitude for everything. He considers his twins’ arrival a true blessing, according to him, their peaceful nature and swift growth have made parenting a delightful experience.
Speaking in a recent interview with Billboard, Davido said:
“I remember when they came, everybody was calling like, ‘They have twins, blah, blah, blah. It’s gonna be hard.’ But, my twins are blessed. They don’t even cry.
“They’re just calm and they’re just growing so fast. It’s just a blessing. Thank God for everything really”.
Beyond fatherhood, Davido also discussed his music career, he revealed that he and Chris Brown have collaborated on over 20 unreleased songs.
Davido assured his fans that his highly anticipated album is on the horizon, promising fresh tracks, he revealed that the album is set to arrive this year.
He hinted at another collaboration with Chris Brown, disclosing that the joint effort will appear on Chris Brown’s upcoming album, scheduled to drop in just two weeks.
