The campaign was launched in response to the exorbitant legal fees she faces in her legal battle with her ex-husband.

Yesterday, Korra Obidi took to social media to express her distress over the exorbitant legal expenses looming ahead in her ongoing legal dispute with ex-husband Justin Dean.

The Nigerian dancer and influencer aired her grievances, citing the overwhelming financial burden of legal fees required to continue her legal fight.

Faced with the daunting prospect of mounting legal costs, Korra Obidi took to social media for support, initiating a crowdfunding campaign on GoFundMe to solicit financial aid from her followers and sympathizers.

The campaign’s primary objective was to raise funds to cover the escalating legal expenses, with an initial target set at $100,000.

However, the response to Obidi’s plea for assistance surpassed all expectations, with an outpouring of generosity from supporters worldwide.

In a remarkable display of solidarity, the campaign quickly gained traction, attracting widespread attention and garnering an impressive sum of $49,346 within the first 24 hours of its launch.

Justin Dean had obtained image rights protection from Meta, restricting Korra Obidi from posting her children online, which leftKorra Obidi begging for funds online to challenge Dean’s move in court.

In the face of this, Dean took to his Facebook page where he addressed netizens concerning the reason for his actions.
