We’re technically still married – Blossom Chukwujekwu’s ex-wife, says 2yrs after actor’s remarriage [VIDEO]

• Maureen Esisi has recalled being married to her ex-husband, Blossom Chukwujekwu.
• The socialite in a recent interview revealed that they are technically still married since they didn’t sign any divorce papers.
• Maureen while lauding her ex-husband, expressed shock at her former in-laws’ deceptive nature.

Maureen Esisi, the ex-wife of Nollywood actor, Blossom Chukwujekwu has revealed that they are still legally married, two years after the latter’s remarriage.

The influencer and socialite in a recent interview with The House Chronicles, disclosed that she never signed any divorce papers with him. According to her, their separation happened way before it went public and despite his remarriage, they are still technically married. Maureen Esisi said:

“My separation happened way before it went public. I am not divorced, technically I am still married. When you say you are divorced it means you signed papers right?”.

Elsewhere in the interview, she slammed her former in-laws over their treatment of her as she recounted how Blossom’s mother will give her reasons she can’t divorce him, yet when the actor said he was done with their marriage, they accepted it.

Maureen went on to shut down claims that Blossom dodged a bullet from her as she revealed that she is the one who dodged a bullet from him. She added:

“All I did was defend him and I wasn’t defending him because I needed to but because regardless of whatever happened, I am never going to stop saying he is a good person.

I will call his mom and she will give me reasons why we cannot divorce and when he said he was done and they were okay with it.

People say he dodged a bullet with me, but that’s extreme because if we really want to analyse things in papers I dodged a bullet”.

Maureen Esisi got married to Blossom in 2015, but the marriage hit the rock in 2019 due to irreconcilable differences.

Opening up about it, Maureen threw a subtle shade at him, insinuating that she married into the wrong home. She said that despite fulfilling all criteria necessary for a wife material, her marriage didn’t work.

Her ex-husband has however moved on, taking another shot at marriage to Pastor Chris Oyakhilome’s niece, on May 21st, 2022.

Maureen had even reacted to the news. The socialite was, however, mercilessly criticized for being a bitter ex, and while reacting to their trolling, Maureen vowed to tell her truth, but before she could, she bowed to pressure and tendered an apology to his wife.
