Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, famously known as Davido, took center stage at the grand funeral service of Chief (Mrs.) Florence Saraki, the late mother of former Senate President Bukola Saraki.

The lavish event, held at the prestigious Eko Hotel in Lagos on Friday, July 19, drew an array of Nigeria’s elite, from governors to top-tier politicians, and other prominent figures.

The funeral, a blend of solemnity and high society glamour, turned electric when a clip showed Davido making his grand entrance.

Flanked by his entourage, Davido was greeted with enthusiastic cheers as he made his way through the crowd. The singer didn’t miss a beat, heading straight to offer his respects to Bukola Saraki, who sat alongside Davido’s billionaire father, Adedeji Adeleke, and Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote.
