Self-proclaimed investigative journalist, Kemi Olunloyo, ignited a firestorm online with explosive claims that Nollywood star Iyabo Ojo had been seized and detained for threatening national security.
Olunloyo, in a highly charged live video and tweet, declared that the actress was apprehended on Sunday, July 21st, under suspicion of being the mastermind behind Gistlover, a notorious blog accused of wreaking havoc on national stability.
Kemi Olunloyo asserted that the arrest was a high-stakes operation executed by the National Security Agency (NSA) in conjunction with the Department of State Services (DSS).
She elaborated on her ongoing investigation into Mohbad’s autopsy results and made a passionate plea to her followers, urged them to donate to her cause for a more exhaustive probe into the unfolding drama.
Doubling down on her claims, Olunloyo took to her X platform, and wrote;
“#BREAKING lyabo Ojo has been arrested by the NSA, picked up last night on suspicion of running Gistlover a blog that has disrupted National Security.
“The same blog that spread Dr Kemi’s phone number, address and pictures of her apartment online. She is a threat to society.
“I was right on the Gistlover ownership. The NSA is working with DSS. I told Nigerian Police this a long time ago. I hope this also links her to obstruction of justice in the Mohbad case. Tonto the admin NEXT!!,#Kemitalks”

However, Iyabo Ojo wasn’t about to let these incendiary allegations go unchecked.
In a defiant move, Iyabo Ojo jumped onto Instagram live to post a video of herself working on set, decisively debunking Kemi’s outlandish accusations.
With the date clearly uttered in the live clip as Tuesday, July 22nd, she aimed to squash the arrest rumors once and for all.
In her fiery rebuttal, Iyabo didn’t hold back, mercilessly mocking those who had fallen for Olunloyo’s sensationalist fabrications and had started donating to her dubious cause.
