The demonstration which kicked off on August 1st has claimed the lives of not less than 20 people according to reports.

A recent video shared online captured a police tank filled with people as it cruised from end to end. Tunde Ednut who shared the clip provided a brief detail. He revealed that the protesters hijacked the truck from the police and used it to cruise around; an act he vehemently condemned.
Sharing the video, he wrote:
“Omo, this is the North. How them take collect police tanker? Them come dey groove with the thing?
This is not right. This is wrong. Respect the Police. Wow! Them get mind Oo!”
