I want to be Ned Nwoko’s 8th wife – Esther Nwachukwu

• Nwachukwu claimed ladies no longer marry for love and for that reason she’d like to marry billionaire politician, Ned Nwoko as his right wife.

Esther Nwachukwu, the controversial Nollywood actress also known as Esther Sky, has expressed her desire to be Senator Ned Nwoko’s eighth wife.

Speaking in the teaser of the upcoming episode of ‘The Honest Bunch’, Esther Sky said she won’t marry for love but money.

“I want to be Ned Nwoko’s eighth wife…. In this generation, women love money more than love,”she said.

The co-host, Nedu, asked: “So, you don’t care about love?”

Nwachukwu replied: “Nobody marries for love these days. Did Dangote’s daughter marry a poor man?”

Nedu: “Those ones are used to money already.”

Nwachukwu: “You can’t be from a poor background and marry someone from a poor background. I’m from a very humble background and I’m an only child.”

In other news, Nollywood veteran, Ngozi Nwosu has revealed that she called off her wedding just two days before the ceremony.

Featuring on the ‘Talk To B’ podcast hosted by Biola Bayo, Nwosu explained that her decision was due to the abusive behaviour of her fiancé.

She emphasised that while infidelity might be forgivable for her, physical abuse is a non-negotiable reason to end a relationship.

Ngozi Nwosu recounted being physically assaulted by her ex-partner while she was pregnant, which led her to prioritise her safety and career. She said:

“For me, infidelity isn’t enough for you to let go of your man. But, if it’s battery, I advise any woman to, in fact, not take any of their property and run for your life because they will never stop. Once a man lifts his hand on you, he won’t stop.

“I called off my wedding two days before because that day, he gave me the beating of my life. I was pregnant then, and I was like, is this what I’m entering? Because he has never done it before.”

The 61-year-old actress admitted that at some point, she regretted her decision but later realised that it was the best for her.
