Omotola Jalade’s son denies ordering Destiny Etiko to return his father’s alleged birthday car gift

The world loves a good scandal, a story that can be twisted and turned to fit the narrative of those who thrive on the pain of others. But Omotola Jalade’s son, with a heart as strong as his mother’s, refuses to play the role they have written for him. He denies the claims that would paint him as a man of anger, And in this denial, there is a deeper truth—a truth that speaks to the respect he holds for his family, as he walks through the storm of gossip with his head held high.

Omotola Jalade’s son denies ordering Destiny Etiko to return his father’s alleged birthday car gift
  • In the intense build-up to Destiny Etiko’s birthday today, the air is thick with scandalous dating rumors, the juiciest being that she’s been gifted a flashy car by Omotola Jalade’s husband.
  • Just when tongues couldn’t wag any faster, an alleged screenshot surfaces, claiming Omotola’s son, Captain, furiously ordered Etiko to return the lavish present.
  • The gossip storm spiraled out of control, setting the internet on fire, until Captain himself stepped forward, cutting through the chaos to address the controversy.

Captain Ekeinde, the Nigerian singer and firstborn of Nollywood’s legendary Omotola Jalade, has stormed the gossip battleground to tackle the blazing rumors that he called out his mother’s colleague, Destiny Etiko.

In the sensational build-up to Destiny’s birthday on August 12, the online rumor mill went into overdrive with scandalous whispers that she had received a luxurious car as a birthday gift from Omotola’s husband, Captain Matthew Ekeinde, a renowned Nigerian pilot.

The gossip didn’t stop there—it escalated when some blogs claimed Omotola was fully aware of the “friendship” between Destiny and her husband, which allegedly blossomed years ago when their photos together set the internet ablaze.

But the plot thickened when a so-called screenshot began circulating like wildfire, allegedly showing Captain Ekeinde’s son, Captain, seething with disapproval over the rumored relationship between Destiny and his father.

As the gossip storm threatened to tear reputations apart, Captain Ekeinde wasn’t about to let his name be dragged through the dirt. He took to his official X account on Sunday, August 11, with a clear message for the rumor mongers: don’t believe the lies.

Captain made it crystal clear that the scandalous report was nothing but fiction, cooked up by those who thrive on drama.

He firmly stated that he’s the last person to be involved in such nonsense,  amusedly proclaiming that he’s too unproblematic to be caught up in such a mess.

Captain wrote:

“Just saw a blog post about me and all l can say is don’t believe everything you read online…As in, someone like me that is unproblematic”
