Big Brother Naija housemate Wanni has announced her decision to break up with her boyfriend Shaun, citing his behavior as the reason for the split.
The couple’s relationship had been under strain recently, with tension escalating after host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu revealed Shaun’s conversation with another housemate during the live eviction show.
Shaun’s comments, where he stated that Wanni was not his ideal partner and that he was with her because his initial interest, Nelly, didn’t make a move, seemed to be the final straw for Wanni.
“On the outside, hot headed women are not my spec because they tend to bring out the worst in you,” Shaun said.
During the live show, Ebuka asked Shaun: “Are you with Wanni because she approached you instead of Nelly who you had a connection with in the first week?”
Shaun replied: “Wanni has always been my first choice.”
During a conversation with her twin sister Handi, Wanni declared that she was done with Shaun and wouldn’t forgive him.
She expressed her disappointment and frustration with Shaun’s behavior, describing him as childish.
Wanni said, “God forbid Shaun’s childish behavior. He’s not an alpha male. I’m done with him, he likes drama. Imagine him trying to beef me, couldn’t even congratulate us for surviving eviction. there are so many traits that this boy shows that makes me very scared.”
Handi attempted to persuade her to reconsider, but Wanni remained resolute in her decision. The breakup marks the end of one of the show’s most tumultuous relationships.
