Veteran actress Ebele Okaro has celebrated Nigeria’s Independence Day in a unique fashion, sharing a striking post where she portrayed an insane character in a comical costume.

Ebele took to her Instagram page on Tuesday, October 1 to post a video of herself dressed as a mentally unstable person, complete with makeup that enhanced the look.

In the video, she is seen energetically gesturing and singing humorous songs, entertaining her followers.

The post which has garnered thousands of views, likes and comments has sparked reactions from fans and fellow celebrities, with many joining in on the fun.

Veteran actress Patience Ozokwor commented in Igbo, “Onye Ara with sound mind” (A mad person with a sound mind).

Chizzy Alichi and Stan Nze responded with laughter and playful emojis.

Peggie Ovire simply wrote, “Mama,” also accompanied by laughing emojis.

Eucharia Anunobi joined in with her own series of laughing emojis.

Nigeria is celebrating its 64th Independence Day, with various public figures sharing their thoughts on the event.

While some have taken to social media to mark the occasion, others have chosen not to participate in the festivities.

Actress Destiny Etiko had expressed her discontent on Instagram on Monday, cautioning her friends and followers against sending her Independence Day greetings.

Meanwhile, Funke Akindele and Mr. Eazi offered a more hopeful perspective, using their platforms to encourage fans on Tuesday, expressing optimism that better days lie ahead for the country.
