Evangelist Mike Bamiloye has shared his thoughts on Pastor Adeboye’s recent apology regarding his statement on tithing.
Recall that pastor Adeboye had admitted that it was wrong of him to say that those who don’t pay tithe wouldn’t make heaven.
Bamiloye in reaction, highlighted the humility required for a prominent leader like Adeboye to publicly apologize, emphasizing that it takes a person with a focus on heaven and eternity to do so.
Bamiloye noted that Adeboye’s apology was not just a simple act but a demonstration of his commitment to spiritual growth and correction.
He referenced biblical examples of leaders who had to be corrected by God, including Prophet Samuel, to illustrate the importance of humility and obedience to God’s guidance.
He wrote:

BUT IF YOU STILL DO HAVE PROBLEMS WITH WHAT BABA SAID, then your Spiritual Sanctification is very Doubtful.

Daddy E.A. Adeboye made a statement and the Lord CORRECTED HIM before he came out in the open to Correct Himself at the Lord’s Instruction.
You think it is easy for a man of such Global Status to come out in the open to apologize, if God had not Corrected Him in the secret?
It is only a Person who has Heaven in Focus and Eternity in Heaven in view that would count it important to do that.

If you like Drag him on the ground for doing what the Lord had instructed him to do.
BABA HAS HEAVEN IN HIS FOCUS, and that is why he doesn’t care about Earthly Honor or human ego.
IT TAKES HUMILITY FOR A MAN OF GLOBAL STATUS AS THIS TO COME OUT AND APOLOGIZE.
