Famous Nigerian singer Kizz Daniel has made a bold declaration, vowing to quit music if anyone other than fellow singer Runtown claims to have ever written a song for him.
The singer shared this sentiment on his official X (formerly Twitter) account, where he praised Runtown for his songwriting skills.
In his post, Buga coroner only acknowledged Runtown as the only person ever to pen a song for him.
He wrote:
“For the first time in my life, person write song for me and na Runtown …… Sound God is not human.”
This revelation sparked mixed reactions online. An X user with the handle @KTwinBlog expressed skepticism.
“For the first….you sure?,” the user queried.
Kizz Daniel swiftly responded, doubling down on his claim. He wrote:
“Make any mofo come out say dem write for me I go stop music right now.”
While using songwriters is common globally, it remains a sensitive topic in Nigeria, where fans often associate an artist’s talent with their ability to write their own songs, viewing those who use songwriters as less talented.
