Nigerian music superstar Davido Adeleke, has revealed the extent of his influence, claiming he has direct access to 14 world presidents.
Speaking at the ‘Elevate Africa’ event, Davido highlighted how his music career has significantly opened doors for his family, beyond the wealth and success already established by his father.
The singer further explained how his international tours have become cultural exchanges, as leaders from different countries express a keen interest in meeting him.
In his words;
“Aside from my dad’s businesses and wealth, I know how many doors my music has opened for my family. Yes o, forget the money. I have 14 presidents’ phone numbers. I can call them directly.
“In every country we go to, the president wants to meet us. That’s also promoting our culture. It’s an amazing feeling.”
A video of Davido making the remarks has since gained traction, sparking discussions about his global influence.

Taking to his X (formerly Twitter) handle with millions of followers, the singer who recently granted an interview where he trashed Nigeria’s economy, saying that it’s in shambles, averred that some kingpins want to cancel his incoming show in Lagos on December 24th because of what he said during the interview.
