Nigerian rapper Emeka Akumefule, popularly known as Blaqbonez, has boldly declared himself as the best rapper in Africa.
The artist, known for his confidence and unconventional style, made this declaration during a recent interview with Chude.
Blaqbonez claimed his discography surpasses that of any other rapper in Africa.
He said;
” I still think I am the best rapper ever in Africa. No one has a better discography than me.”
The “Emeka Must Shine” crooner has repeatedly asserted that he is the most prolific artist in Nigeria, claiming to have thousands of songs and revealing that he was once releasing new songs weekly at one point in his career.
In other news, Nigerian music star Wizkid has equaled Burna Boy’s record as the artist with the highest number of charting albums in Billboard 200 history by a Nigerian.
This milestone was achieved following the debut of Wizkid’s latest album, ‘Morayo’, which entered the Billboard 200 chart at number 98, with an impressive 13,000 units sold in its first week.
The new achievement places Wizkid alongside Burna Boy, with both artists now boasting four albums each on the prestigious Billboard 200 chart.
Music analytics platform, Chart Data, confirmed the feat in a post on X.
Wizkid ties Burna Boy as the Nige inrian artist with the most charting albums in Billboard 200 history (4 each),” the post read.
In addition to its Billboard 200 success, *Morayo* made waves on the Billboard World Albums chart, where it debuted at number 4.
