Dapper releases statement following Shallipopi and Muyeez’s exit from record label
  • Damilola Akinwunmi, CEO of Dapper Music, has released a statement following the departure of artists Shallipopi and Muyeez.
  • The statement emphasized the label’s commitment to growth, empowerment, and nurturing talent, but failed to address the controversy surrounding the artists’ exit.

Damilola Akinwunmi, the CEO of Dapper Music, has issued a statement in response to the recent departure of two prominent artists, Shallipopi and Muyeez, from his label.

The exit of the two musicians sent shockwaves through the music industry, with many fans left wondering about the circumstances surrounding their departure.

In their respective statements, Shallipopi and Muyeez cited a lack of transparency, trust, and exploitation as the reasons for their decision to leave Dapper Music.

However, in a surprise move, the label’s CEO chose not to address the allegations directly, instead focusing on reassuring the public and the label’s remaining artists about the organization’s commitment.
