Media personality Suga Belly took to X (formerly Twitter) has weighed in on singer 2Baba’s divorce from wife, Annie Idibia.

In her post, Suga Belly expressed her resentment of 2Baba’s family dynamics, particularly criticizing his mother for past actions and attitudes.

She recalled her experience at Loyola, where she alleged that 2Baba’s mother frequently body-shamed students and moralized during dormitory interactions. Suga Belly also accused her of pressuring students to pray for her son’s career success during Mass.

However, her criticism went beyond personal grievances, as she accused 2Baba’s mother of enabling questionable behaviour.

She alleged that despite her outward display of morals, 2Baba’s mother allowed her son to “groom a 15-year-old child.”

In her words:

“The part that pains me personally is that Tuface’s daft mother, who was always body shaming and moralising us in the girls dorm in Loyola, and forcing us to pray for her son’s success during Mass when upon all her so called morals, she allowed her son to groom a 15 year old CHILD.”
