Nigerian content creator, Maraji, has expressed her disapproval of legendary singer 2Baba Idibia’s decision to publicly announce his divorce from wife, actress Annie Idibia.
In a post shared on her Instagram story on Monday, Maraji criticized the singer for what she deemed an inconsiderate move.
The content creator voiced her disappointment, emphasizing that 2Baba’s video announcing the end of his marriage came across as dismissive and berating.
According to Maraji, it was unnecessary for the singer to make such a personal matter public, especially considering the emotional toll it could have on his estranged wife.
“Knowing how she is currently being dragged, he could have just kept it off social media and let the woman heal in peace,” Maraji said
She further pointed out that given Annie’s current public struggles, 2Baba could have spared her the added distress and kept the matter away from the public eye.
