- Siraheem vowed to replace the Headies Awards in Nigeria once he has the finances.
Nigerian singer and billionaire’s son, Raheem Okoya, also known as Siraheem, has recently thrown jabs at the Headies Awards after he got snubbed.
This came after the award organizers released their nomination list for the 17th award show on February 12, 2025, and he failed to appear in any category.
Siraheem took to social media to air his grievances, stating that the Headies Award is beneath him as he has his sights set on the prestigious Grammys.
He further declared his intention to replace the Headies Awards in Nigeria immediately he gets the necessary funds. He asserted that booking a venue and handing out awards wasn’t quite a difficult task for him.
In his words:
“Grammy na my level, Headies is for upcoming artist. Las las we just have to rep Nigeria sha. Any small money I find, I go replace Headies for Nigeria. It’s not hard to book a venue and give bs awards.”

This comes months after Raheem Okoya ventured into music and released his first song which got people talking online.
