Nigerian actor Uche Maduagwu has shared his thoughts on a recent Valentine’s Day gesture by Veekee James’ husband, Femi.

The celebrity couple had taken to social media to share a heartwarming video of Femi surprising Veekee James with a gift.

In reaction to this, Uche Maduagwu offered his suggestion.

He advised Veekee James that the best Valentine’s gift she could give to her husband Femi, would be to employ him and provide a steady income.

Uche Maduagwu also questioned how true the surprise gift is, suggesting that it could have been planned by Veekee James herself.

“Let me tell you what nobody will tell you. Marriage is not a reality TV show. The best Valentine gift you can give to Femi is to employ him. Establish a business for him. Everytime una go dey show. This thing wey you post now, how you wan prove to us no be you plan am…”, he said in part

Few days ago, Veekee James marks first wedding anniversary with hubby, Femi Atere.

On February 1, 2025, Veekee shared on her official Instagram that she got legally hitched to her husband on this day, a year ago.

To celebrate the occasion, Veekee James shared a collection of rose-themed pictures, recognizing that February is the month of love.

In the images, the fashion designer and her partner posed against a red backdrop filled with red roses, both smiling for the camera. Veekee also mentioned in her caption that she can’t wait to celebrate her traditional and white wedding anniversary, both in this month. In her words:

“On this day 1 year ago, we legally tied the knot 💍 🥰 It’s the month of love and the month of our anniversary 🥹 Can’t wait to celebrate our Trad & White Wedding Anniversary. What a year it has been🥰🥰🥰.”
