Nollywood actress Chizzy Alichi has called out fans who often pray for her to conceive whenever she congratulates her pregnant colleagues.
Taking to her Instagram story, the actress expressed frustration over such comments, describing them as annoying.
She also shared screenshots of replies from followers who insisted she was “next” to have a baby. She fumed:
“‘You are next” i don’t understand, did I complain to you?? Are you in my family? Do you know what our issues are?”
While some fans defended the comments, stating that they were simply well-wishes and a form of encouragement, others agreed with Alichi, calling for more emotional intelligence and sensitivity.

Chizzy Alichi revealed that this was one of the reasons she rarely comments on or posts congratulatory messages when her colleagues welcome a baby.
The movie star who got married to Chike Ugochukwu Mbah in 2019 questioned why people assume she wants to get pregnant and whether they know anything about her personal life or that of her husband. She added:
“One of the reasons I hardly comment/ post or congratulate my colleagues/ anybody on my page when they welcome a baby. These comments are so annoying. Jesus!.”
