Regina Daniels’ brother reacts as Ned Nwoko denies impregnating Chika Ike, intention of taking 7th wife

Lawrence Daniels, the brother of movie star, Regina Daniels has reacted to his in-law, Senator Prince Ned Nwoko’s statement amid allegations from controversial blogger, Gistlovers.

The blog had instituted a frenzy on social media after it alleged that actress, Chika Ike welcomed a child with Ned Nwoko, causing Regina Daniels to deactivate her Instagram account.

The gist triggered a lot of comments from cybernauts who were eager to satisfy their curiosity.

In reaction to this, Ned Nwoko on Monday afternoon, 17th February cleared the air, stating that he wasn’t responsible for Chika Ike’s pregnancy and doesn’t have the intention of taking a 7th wife.

He wrote:

“OFFICIAL STATEMENT FROM THE DIRECTOR OF COMMUNICATIONS

Our attention has been drawn to the recent false rumors alleging that Senator Prince Ned Munir Nwoko is planning to marry Nollywood actress Chika Ike as his seventh wife and that she is pregnant for him. We categorically state that these claims are entirely baseless and a product of malicious speculation. Similarly, reports claiming he made statements about Tuface and polygamy are completely untrue. As a public figure and with his wife also being an actress, it is not unusual for bloggers seeking attention to fabricate such stories. However, Senator Nwoko is currently on a national assignment, focused on delivering on his political mandate, and has no time for distractions. This office remains available to journalists for verification of information, and we remind media practitioners of the consequences of spreading fake news. The public is advised to disregard these rumors and rely only on official statements from his office.”

In reaction to the statement, Regina’s brother left a comment under the post. Commenting, he insinuated that Gistlovers would be disappointed by the statement issued by Ned Nwoko.

“Una don break gistlover face what’s this nau 🤦😂,” he wrote.
