Patrick Doyle knocks those congratulating Sophia Egbueje on Lamborghini, Patek watch purchase
  • Patrick Doyle has joined bandwagon to react to the trending Lamborghini controversy involving Sophia Egbueje and Burna Boy
  • Recall the socialite had in a recording claimed Burna Boy promised to get her a Lamborghini after their one-night stand but he reneged.
  • Days after the audio went viral, Egbueje took delivery of her automobile and flaunted a $150k Patek wristwatch, which has led to Doyle expressing his displeasure.

Media Personality and movie actor Patrick Doyle, has reacted to the trending video of socialite Sophia Egbueje taking delivery of her Lamborghini.

This comes after Sophia Egbueje flaunted her latest purchase following backlash that trailed a recording of her accusing Grammy winning singer Burna Boy of failing to buy her a Lamborghini as he promised.

Reacting to the brouhaha the incident has caused online, Patrick Doyle took to Facebook to berate Sophia Egbueje for having the guts to flaunt her “600 million Naira car” and wristwatch worth about $150k (approximately  ₦229 million).

The veteran actor stressed that those who have been congratulating the socialite despite knowing “her shameful means of livelihood” are fools for doing so.

Patrick Doyle pointed out that her extended family might be poor or going through difficult times but she chose to buy such expensive items and flaunted it on social media.

Mixed reactions have trailed the actor’s view, with some supporting him and others throwing shade.

Read what Doyle wrote and reactions to it below:

“She boasted about the value of her wrist watch and flaunted a 600 million Naira car. The combined value of both items is in the range of 650 to 750 million Naira. Some half wits were impressed and effusively congratulated her as she smiled and flaunted both items. As if we hadn’t heard about her shameful means of livelihood. Meanwhile, I can bet that there are members of her extended who are going through a tough time. The romanticising of iniquity has become the stock in trade of dim wits amongst us.”

abiola_timothy stated: “Like who gave the right to judge her? Was your wife the first woman you ever slept with? Why did you think you are better than her? The member of her family should go and work for their money, if she give them money, is because she chose to, not an obligation, you people are so opinionated.”
