Nollywood actor Jigan Baba Oja is a believer of giving flowers while people are still alive, as he publicly showered accolades on fellow actor Soji Taiwo, also known as Soji Omo Banke.
In a touching revelation, Jigan opened up about how Soji literally took him in, fed him, and looked after him during a tough period while he was in the United States. Jigan said:
“If not for Soji Omo Banke, I would have suffered greatly when I went to America,”
“He gave me shelter, food, and never asked for anything in return. He would even leave his room for me and sleep in the living room.”
Jigan recalled how Soji supported him in every possible way, even going as far as sacrificing MC gigs and handing them over to Jigan just to help boost his career abroad. He continued:
“He’d tell people to let me anchor events in his place, then drive me there and give me all the money. He never took a dime from me.”
Grateful and emotional, Jigan added:
“Only God can bless him for what he did. I will never forget his kindness till I die.”
He ended by reminding fans that true character is often only revealed through close relationships, describing Soji as calm, selfless, and rare in the entertainment world.
