Stop spreading lies about my late dad – Apostle Babalola’s daughter warns after Pastor Fatoyinbo’s remark (VIDEO)

Apostle Babalola, daughter Eunice Wuraola Ogini, Pastor Fatoyinbo

Eunice Wuraola Ogini, the first daughter of the late Apostle Joseph Ayo Babalola, warned pastors and ministers of the gospel against spreading false or unverified claims about her father’s life and ministry.

Mrs. Ogini issued the caution in response to recent comments by Biodun Fatoyinbo, Lead Pastor of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA), who claimed that despite Apostle Babalola’s heavy anointing, he had no money during his lifetime. Fatoyinbo also questioned the current whereabouts of Babalola’s children.

In a video statement, Mrs. Ogini firmly rejected the narrative that her father lived in poverty. She maintained that Apostle Babalola was comfortable during his lifetime and devoted himself fully to preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ without compromise.

She recounted how, during her father’s crusades, people brought idols, shrines, occultic materials, and ritual calabashes to be destroyed by fire as a public demonstration of their repentance and faith in Christ. According to her, this was a hallmark of his ministry and a testament to his impact on communities across Nigeria.

The elderly woman urged preachers to speak the truth with sincerity and respect whenever they referenced her father’s legacy.

“I am Eunice Wuraola Ogini, the first daughter of Apostle Joseph Ayo Babalola,” she said. “My father preached the gospel of Christ without compromise. When people mention his name during preaching, they should speak the truth and be sincere. Ministers of God should honour the Lord on the pulpit by verifying every piece of information to avoid lies and speculations.”

Mrs. Ogini also referenced Apostle Paul’s advice in Colossians 4:6, where believers are instructed that their speech should be gracious and seasoned with salt.

She stressed that this principle should guide pastors in how they speak about revered men of God, especially those who have passed on.

Apostle Joseph Ayo Babalola, the founder of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), remains one of Nigeria’s most respected revivalists.

His ministry, marked by miracles, large crusades, and uncompromising teachings, left a lasting spiritual legacy.

His daughter’s statement now stands as both a defense of his memory and a reminder to the church to uphold truth and integrity.
