TVC video report on VeryDarkMan and Prophet Fufeyin uncovers shocking twist

Verydarkman, TVC reporter, Prophet Fufeyin

A fresh video report by Television Continental (TVC) has ignited widespread reactions online after confirming that Audiomack has officially taken down all versions of the controversial track “Ole” by social media critic Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan.

The removal followed a court order obtained by Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin, the founder of Mercyland Deliverance Ministry, based in Warri, Delta State.

According to the TVC reporter, Audiomack Limited and Audiomack Africa acted in strict compliance with an interlocutory injunction issued by the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) High Court, Nyanya Division (Suit No: FCT/CV/3340/2024).

The directive, signed by Justice A. Yesuf Shafa, restrained VeryDarkMan from publishing or circulating any alleged defamatory material against Prophet Fufeyin across digital platforms, including Facebook, YouTube, and streaming services.

Prophet Fufeyin’s legal team, led by human rights lawyer Samuel Ihensekhien Jnr., had formally notified Audiomack of the order, compelling the platform to swiftly delete the song and its music video.

The ruling also struck out all preliminary objections raised by VeryDarkMan, with the court siding with Fufeyin on three major legal issues.

The case has now been adjourned to October 27, 2025, for continuation of hearing, but the decision has already sent ripples through Nigeria’s digital and religious spaces.

Supporters of Prophet Fufeyin see the court’s decision as a significant win for clergy rights and the battle against defamation, while VeryDarkMan’s followers counter that the songs remain available on other digital platforms and insist the activist never claimed to be a musician or sought profit from the track.

VDM stirred up a wave of online reactions following the release of a diss track aimed at Jeremiah Fufeyin, Street-pop artist Portable and Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo.

The track titled ‘Ole’, which quickly went viral across platforms such as X, Instagram, and TikTok, sees VeryDarkMan calling out the three men in bold and unapologetic verses.
