Korra Obidi jumps to Portable’s defense, calls out Nigerian Police and Singer’s ex-signee, Manny Monie- VIDEO

Nigerian Dancer and Singer, Korra Obidi, has weighed in on Controversial street-hop Artiste, Portable’s arrest and arraignment by the police over alleged assault.

The Ogun Police command recently arraigned the Zazuu Crooner on six counts bordering on assault before an Ogun State High Court sitting in Ifo.

Speaking on the music star’s ordeal with the police, Korra Obidi, via Facebook live, declared her admiration for the singer, berated the security agency for humiliating Portable publicly like a criminal.

According to the mother of two, arresting and arraigning an street entertainer like Portable rather than corrupt politicians is tantamount to misplaced priorities.

She also called out Portable’s ex-signee, Manny Monie for his petition against the singer over a case that can be solved without involving the police.

WITHIN NIGERIA earlier reported that Portable landed in police custody on Friday, March 31, 2023, after his encounter with police officers at his bar, during which one of them was allegedly injured.

Videos of the singer in court went viral, and contrary to his bragging online, Portable looked helpless.

The High Court in Ifo, Ogun State, however, granted the music star bail..

Portable was granted bail in the sum of N300,000 and to provide two sureties with landed properties within the court vicinity. The case has now been adjourned till April 26.
