Your papa dey go LASUTH? – Nasboi takes a swipe at El-Rufai’s son for shade at Falz who had surgery abroad

Nigerian skit-maker, Lawal Nasiru Bolaji professionally known as Nasboi has taken a swipe at Bashir El-Rufai and by extension his father, Nasir El-Rufai who is the governor of Kaduna state.

It all started with rapper and activist, Falz who on May 10 revealed he had a knee surgery in the United Kingdom.

Falz in a video shared on Instagram, stated that he sustained a knee injury last year while playing football and was advised to go for surgery. The clip contained moments before and after the surgery.

Reacting to the news of Falz doing the procedure abroad, Bashir questioned why the Rapper didn’t have the surgery in Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, LASUTH as a bona fide human rights activist. He added that it was rather disappointing. Bashir tweeted in reaction to a blog’s report:

Nasboi in turn lambasted Bashir, questioning if his father, Nasir El-Rufai goes to LASUTH as well. He responded:

“Your papa Dey go Lasuth? Anumanu.”

Others like actress Ada Karl amongst other netizens took to the comments to drag Bashir for his comment, stating that Falz and his father, Femi Falana SAN aren’t politicians and the Rapper didn’t use taxpayer’s funds to sponsor his surgery. See reactions below:
