Benue Cyclist, Emmiwuks, reaches out to Davido as Singer finally arrives Lagos

• The determined Benue Cyclist, Emmiwuks, clings tenaciously to his dream of meeting his music idol, Davido, as he reached out to the musician, who has made a triumphant return to Lagos after an extensive musical trip spanning several weeks.
• Emmiwuks touched down in Lagos a couple of days back after cycling from Benue. He paid a visit to the music sensation’s residence in Lekki last Saturday, but unfortunately, the singer wasn’t around.
• Undeterred, he chose to remain in Lagos, showing great patience while anticipating Davido’s return, which eventually took place not too long ago.

Having caught wind of his music idol’s recent arrival in Lagos, Emmanuel Myam, aka Emmiwuks, a die-hard fan of Davido, took the initiative to reach out to the Afrobeats Superstar, in an effort to arrange a meeting.

Emmiwuks captured attention in recent times with his remarkable feat of cycling from Benue to Lagos over a span of 15 days, all in pursuit of meeting his musical idol.

Astonishingly, even after Davido suggested he halt his journey and offered a monetary reward, Emmiwuks graciously declined, unwavering in his determination.

The recently ousted BBNaija All-Stars contestant, Kiddwaya, just a short while ago, posted a video on his Instagram showcasing the moment he joined Davido and his group on the singer’s private jet trip to Lagos. All faces were radiant with smiles.

In his caption, Kiddwaya announced their touchdown in Lagos.

Meanwhile, Emmiwuks, who has showed remarkable patience in Lagos while awaiting Davido’s arrival, took to his Twitter account. He made an earnest plea to the singer, requesting his followers to tag Davido and assist in fulfilling his dream of finally meeting him.

As of the time of compiling this report, there has been no response from Davido to Emmiwuks’ outreach, and Emmiwuks himself has not confirmed whether a meeting has been scheduled.

Emmiwuks’ sole aspiration, which he emphasized time and again, was to come face to face with Davido in Lagos and personally bestow a gift upon him.

In the company of his companions, he visited Davido’s residence on Saturday, though unfortunately, the singer was not present during that time.

The Benue Cyclist also experienced a bout of illness and was subsequently admitted to a hospital for treatment, following his arduous journey.
