  • In a heartwarming clip, his sons curiously touched upon the sensitive topic of why their father is always in a wheelchair.
  • Unfazed, Ayefele cheerfully revealed the backstory to them, shed light on the reasons for his consistent seated position.

Renowned Nigerian Gospel artist Yinka Ayefele recently engaged in a heart-to-heart conversation with his sons, delved into the unforgettable motor accident that confined him to a wheelchair.

In a video captured on his Instagram page, Yinka Ayefele was spotted with his kids flat-out on the bed when his son, Richard, fueled by curiosity, straight-up grilled his old man on why he can’t stand on his feet.

Yinka responded, revealed he had an accident. Little Richard, still curious, persistently pressed for more details. The singer then explained it was an auto crash during the festive season on December 12, 1997.

Little Richard inquired about the car accident, and Yinka, addressing him and the other kids, described how he was driving on a slippery road when his car somersaulted six times, landed in a deep pit within a bush.
