Mohbad: Video of Wunmi’s legal counsel defending her in court triggers whispers about her replacing Falana
  • A sizzling new clip of Wunmi’s lawyer has ignited a firestorm of speculation, hinting at a shocking shake-up in her legal team.
  • Femi Falana and his wife have been the formidable duo behind Wunmi’s defense, making the whispers of a potential replacement nothing short of explosive

Omowunmi Aloba, the widow of the late Nigerian music sensation Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, known as Mohbad, has sparked a whirlwind of reactions online with a perceived shift in her legal representation concerning her husband’s ongoing case.

Since Mohbad’s tragic passing, the formidable legal duo of Senior Advocates Femi and Funmi Falana has stood as Wunmi’s voice in court, tirelessly updating the press and concerned citizens on the developments of the case.

Today, September 11, the coroner’s inquest into the late singer’s death resumed at the Ikorodu magistrate court, with both of Mohbad’s parents, Joseph Aloba and Abosede, present to seek answers.

Amid the proceedings, a video surfaced showcasing Wunmi’s new lawyer defending her against swirling accusations, notably addressing her absence in court.

This explosive development comes just months after Joseph Aloba, the heartbroken father of Mohbad, made a harrowing distress call, claiming that his daughter-in-law, Wunmi Aloba, and her lawyer Femi Falana were threatening his life.

In a candid interview with the ‘Wetin Dey’ crew on Max FM 102.3, Joseph didn’t hold back, accused Falana of trying to intimidate potential witnesses who were prepared to testify against them.
